Bwin Poker’s seventh annual tournament series, the Grand Series of Poker is set to kick off in just a few short weeks on the 25th September. There will be 18 big tournaments and a total of $3,100,000 is guaranteed in prize pools.
The series, unsurprisingly, kicks off with Event 1, a $190+$10 buy-in. The stacks will be deep in this event meaning lots of play and the event has a whopping $500,000 guarantee. It is followed later that day by a $50+$4 $50,000 guaranteed rebuy event.
GSOP Runs From 25th September To 16th October
The series will run right the way through to the 16th October when the Grand Slam Final will take place with a $4,900 +$100 buy-in and a $400,000 guarantee. Other events include the $50 + $4 Omaha Hi/Lo rebuy event, the $190 + $10 Pot Limit Omaha freezeout, a couple of 1 rebuy, 1 add-on no-limit Hold’Em events with a $100+$8 and $190 + $10 buy-in and the $500 + $25 no-limit Hold’em $500,000 guarantee
Many may fear that the $5,000 buy-in for the grand slam is a little out of their bankroll, but fear not. Every Grand Series of Poker event you play in gives you an opportunity to earn points on the GSOP leaderboard.
Top 100 Performers Will Enter Grand Slam Final Freeroll
If you manage to finish in the top 100 on the leaderboard, bwin is giving away four seats to the Grand Slam Final in a freeroll between those top 100 players.
Qualifiers for the big events are running now for those who want to get in to the big events for a fraction of the price. There are also last chance qualifiers running on the day of each event. With so much up for grabs for so little, what more could you ask for from a tournament series?
